Chess in Porto where anyone may sit down 3

Three listings have a source saying that anyone may come. The Grupo de Xadrez do Porto, at Travessa das Almas 12, keeps its rooms open for practice to members and visitors from Monday to Friday between 16:00 and 19:00 and on Saturdays between 15:00 and 18:00, and closes on Sundays and public holidays; its Monday tournament at five minutes a player lets people join or leave between rounds. On Rua de Miguel Bombarda, Nope Pelmeni & Dumplings Bar holds a chess evening every Tuesday from 19:00, announced for all levels, and asks players to bring a set if they own one.

The third is not a fixed evening: Limbo Chess Club has laid out boards on the tables of Musa das Virtudes, a bar on Passeio das Virtudes, on a Thursday in June and a Saturday in October 2026, open to everyone. The list is this short because it takes only places whose own pages or listings state the open door. Other clubs may well receive a visitor who writes first, but none of their sources says so, and they stay on the wider list.
